Servicing Options

• FREE Business Sustainability Certification Program  

  • Review program details, implement your sustainability initiatives and submit for your free certification
  • **First 100 businesses in 2021 will be added to our Green Business Guide (eco friendly certified businesses listing on website) and social media announcement upon certification**

• Base Membership (optional)

• $79 annual membership fee includes:
  • One hour phone consultation to help guide you along the sustainability path that is best for your business
  • Your business added to our Green Business Guide (eco friendly certified businesses listing on website) and social media announcement upon certification

• Consulting (optional)

• Custom designed sustainability projects managed by a skilled business sustainability consultant available for a fee

Certification Framework

Tiers

We offer a tiered approach to appeal to all businesses, regardless of where they are in their sustainable journey, as well as providing a next level to work toward.

• Participant - nothing required, other than a commitment to work toward certification
• Bronze - Complete 2 bronze (or higher) initiatives within each of the 4 areas
• Silver - Complete 3 silver (or higher) initiatives within each of the 4 areas + 2 tracking metrics
• Gold - Complete 4 initiatives within each of the 4 areas, one must be gold in each + 1 tracking metric in each

Areas

We have identified four key areas of sustainability, organized by sub categories.  Initiatives included within each are organized in three tiers: 

• Bronze: little to no funding required to implement 
• Silver: moderate funds required to implement 
• Gold: significant capital required to implement

Timeframe

Annual time frame runs April 1 - March 31.  Businesses must be re-certified each year.
